Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix placed second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting the new world junior record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007, she won that title, beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed within the top three athletes in her respective events.
