Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has proven her ability in the role of actress with stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. It was, however, her performance as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for right to rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also praised for the role she was playing in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 is scheduled to be renewed for a second season.
